You will be supporting the HR department with both the administrative and the people-focused side of recruitment and staff support. You will also set up and streamline HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, check-ins, exit), maintaining documentation, and being a warm and reliable point of contact for staff members via email, chat, and video calls.
As an HR Officer, you help keep the people side of Flüüfff running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll focus on the administrative and communication aspects of HR: things like onboarding new staff, keeping our records up to date, managing documentation, and improving how we share information and resources.
You’ll collaborate with the Head of HR and other departments to make sure everyone has what they need to do their jobs well. You’ll also help spot where our internal processes can be clearer or more efficient, and propose or implement small improvements along the way.
Your work ensures our volunteer team feels informed, organized, and supported throughout the year and during the convention.
You’ll work closely with the Head of HR and other members of the HR team, coordinating on staff communication, onboarding, and documentation. You’ll also collaborate with Department Heads across Flüüfff to support their recruitment needs, gather updates, and make sure all staff information stays current and organized. During the convention, you’ll help ensure smooth communication and wellbeing across teams, together with the HR Head and Deputies.
A few hours per month outside of the con (mainly recruitment and staff support via email/chat/video calls). During the convention, being available for check-ins and staff support.
