As a Stagehand, you support the Stage department with the setup, operation, and teardown of stage and technical equipment during the convention. You help ensure that performances, shows, and technical moments run smoothly behind the scenes.
This is a hands-on, on-site role that involves practical work, teamwork, and flexibility during busy moments.
Your responsibilities include:
Assisting with setup and teardown of stage and technical equipment
Supporting the operation of equipment during events
Helping resolve technical issues as they arise, together with the team
You are a supporting member of the Stage department, working under the guidance of the Department Head and Deputy. You collaborate closely with fellow stagehands and coordinate with other departments when needed to keep everything running smoothly.
In this role, you:
Follow technical instructions and safety guidelines
Apply basic knowledge of stage and technical equipment
May work with tools or software such as grandMA3, Resolume, Allen & Heath, and Microsoft Office
Communicate clearly with your team, especially during busy or high-pressure moments
You might be a good fit if
You are fluent in English. It is a plus if you are also fluent in French, Dutch, or German.

You are willing to work late hours when needed

This role requires on-site availability during key moments of the convention:
Early arrival for setup
Availability during the main convention days
Late availability for teardown after the event
