As a Video Editor in the PR department, you help turn recorded footage into engaging videos for social media, announcements, and the official Flüüfff After Movie.
You shape raw material into a clear and exciting story through editing, pacing, effects, and sound. Your work helps capture the spirit and energy of the convention in a way that can be shared with the community.
Your responsibilities include:
Editing short videos for social media posts and announcements
Contributing to the official After Movie of the convention
Creating videos in both short and longer formats
Preparing videos in the correct format for different platforms
You are a creative post-production contributor within the PR department. You collaborate closely with the Videographer and multimedia team to transform footage into polished, ready-to-publish content.
In this role, you:
Are comfortable editing video material into engaging content
Use basic to intermediate effects, transitions, and colour grading
Optimise videos for social media formats and platform requirements
Can work independently while staying aligned with the team’s creative direction
Coordinate with the Stage team if video content needs to be projected during the convention
You might be a good fit if
You are fluent in English. It is a plus if you are also fluent in French, Dutch, or German.
You enjoy telling a story through moving images
You can quickly create fun and engaging short videos for announcements
You enjoy collaborating creatively with a videographer
You have an eye for pacing, mood, and atmosphere
You are organised and can deliver edited material within agreed timelines

Time commitment
This role involves light involvement throughout the year, with optional increased activity around the convention.
A few hours per month before the convention for editing announcements or short content
Additional time during or immediately after the convention if you contribute to the After Movie
If involved in the After Movie shown at the Closing Ceremony, some on-site editing time during the convention may be required
Exact expectations will be coordinated within the PR department.
