Fursuits & Costumes
Fursuits are elaborate, handcrafted costumes and the people wearing them deserve consideration.
A few simple guidelines:
- Always ask before hugging or touching a fursuiter. They may have limited visibility and mobility.
- Ask before taking a close-up photo or video. Most suiters love to pose, but consent matters.
- Fursuiters wearing a full head cannot speak. They communicate through gestures and body language.
- If a fursuiter shakes their head or waves you off, please respect that and move on.
- Never try to touch or remove someone's fursuit head.
- Do not photograph fursuiters in rest or changing areas.
Not at all! Flüüfff welcomes everyone who enjoys creativity, community, and the furry fandom. Whether you come in full fursuit, casual cosplay, or just as yourself, you are welcome.
Yes! The Fursuit Games are one of the highlights of Flüüfff, with fun competitions on the programme. There is also a fursuit walk where suiters can show off their costumes together.
Yes! Photography is welcome in public areas of the convention. When photographing individuals or fursuiters, always ask first and respect their answer. Some events may have specific rules, which will be noted in the programme.
Yes! Flüüfff has a dedicated fursuit lounge where you can change into or out of your fursuit, store your gear safely, and take a breather. The lounge is equipped with a large fan to help you cool down, and refreshments are available, with a focus on keeping you hydrated. It is a private space, so please be respectful of others using it.

The furry fandom is a community inspired by anthropomorphic animals, meaning animals with human traits. It's mainly about creativity and is known as a very social community. Most furries create their own character (a fursona), based on an animal, real or fictional. At conventions, you'll find people creating art, writing stories, socializing, and wearing fursuits based on their fursona.

However, rooms booked through Flüüfff are part of a negotiated group rate and are therefore more advantageous. Booking separately will likely result in higher prices and does not guarantee availability within the convention block.

You can attend without booking a room through us, but you cannot book a room through Flüüfff without a valid convention ticket. If you prefer to stay elsewhere or are not attending the full duration of the convention, you will need to arrange your own accommodation.

Residential rooms are booked per room, not per person. One attendee books and pays for the room, and roommates can arrange payment among themselves. This allows groups of friends to easily share a room together during the convention.
Convention tickets (day, weekend, or all-days) give you access to the event.
Accommodation covers your stay at the hotel from Wednesday to Sunday and does not include access to the convention.
If you would like to both attend the event and stay at the venue, you will need to book both a convention ticket and accommodation.
Payments for registration are handled online and are via bank transfer only. For hotel or food purchases, local card and cash payments are accepted at the venue.
Head to registration.fluufff.org to create an account and purchase your ticket. Follow the steps to choose your ticket type and complete your booking.

Yes! Each year, Flüüfff welcomes a bunch of attendee-hosted panels. You can hold your own small panel or even team up with others to organize a big event like the Fursuit Games. You can find all the details and the panel application form as well as the cooperation form for big panels on our Events page.
Of course! Check out our Staff & Volunteering page for all the details, or send an email to hr@fluufff.org. The best way to support Flüüfff is simply by attending and spreading the word.

Yes! If you'd like to take the decks at one of our events, you can apply via our Events page.
Visit our Staff & Volunteering page for all the details on open roles and how to apply. You can also reach out directly to the HR department at hr@fluufff.org.
Flüüüfff is run entirely by volunteers. All roles (whether behind the scenes or during the event) are unpaid, but offer a chance to be part of something creative, collaborative, and community-driven.
Not necessarily! While some positions may ask for specific skills or experience, many of our roles (especially volunteer ones) are open to anyone who's motivated and a good fit for our values. We’ll guide and support you through the onboarding process.
Some roles require on-site presence during the convention, but others (especially in the lead-up) can be done remotely. Each job post clearly states whether the role is remote, on-site, or hybrid.
Yes, you’re welcome to apply for multiple roles if they interest you. Just be mindful of the time commitment listed for each position (especially around the event dates) so you don’t overextend yourself.
You’ll receive a confirmation email, and your application will be reviewed by the department or HR team. If there’s a good fit, we’ll contact you for an informal interview or chat. After that, we’ll let you know if we can move forward and begin onboarding.
Absolutely. You can submit a spontaneous application or apply as a general volunteer by sending an email to hr@fluufff.org. We’ll get in touch to explore what might be a good fit based on your interests, skills, and availability.
